To achieve the best print results, make sure your photo or artwork is of high resolution, preferably of 300dpi. You can read up more about technical queries on our FAQ page. PNG files are our preferred choice but jpegs or gifs are fine too.
A good rule of thumb is, if you enlarge the photo on your screen to the size you want it printed on the shirt and it becomes blurry and pixelated, then it will most likely do that too when printed on the shirt in that size.
If you want to remove the background of your design, check our FAQ site on some handy tips on how to achieve this.
Printing on colour shirts requires shirts to be pre-treated so that a white ink undercoat can bond with the shirt fibres before the coloured ink is added on top. This makes printing on coloured shirts a little more expensive than printing on white garments. Please note that the shirt colours displayed are only a visual match as good as its gets and actual colours may slightly vary.
Because our default print method for cotton garments is a digital CMYK printer, we can’t print exact pantone or spot colours. Instead, our printer draws from the digital colour spectrum available, which is made up from the four base colours Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. It can be very difficult to match certain colours which are not part of the CMYK spectrum, such as very bright blue or red colour shades. To avoid strong colour variations please make sure your design is saved in CMYK mode (not RGB). If it is crucial to you that your print reflects exactly the colours you are aiming for, please tell us with a little message on your checkout page. Also, if you want to use neon or metallic colours for your text / design please contact us so that we can match your needs spot on.
Depending on print demand and stock levels of blank garments we generally aim for a 3-7 day turn-around (plus shipping). If your order is urgent, please note this during check-out and we can prioritise your order for a small 20% express fee.
